How can I keep my hair from getting ruined by the wind?

I'm a guy with curly hair of about medium length. Generally my hair looks fine except for when a sudden gust of wind blows, then it gets ruined entirely. Other people's hair will just get blown around for a bit and then settle right back down, but mine will just stick up in thin strands all over the place. I'm wondering if there are any products that I could buy or if I just need to change something in the way that I style it that could fix this problem. If you're wondering, the only things that I use for my hair are shampoo, conditioner, and then a comb. Thanks in advance.
